Instructions for installing new adapter drivers and firmware:

IMPORTANT

The adapter firmware must be updated in addition to the drivers. The firmware will automatically update the first time you attempt to connect to an application.

Run the driver installation

  1. Close running applications
  2. Download the executable file and save to your hard drive
  3. Once the download is complete launch the installer and select “Install”
  4. On the “Welcome” screen select “Next”
  5. Read and agree to the license agreement and select “Next”
  6. Select or accept the default installation path and then select “Install”
  7. On the “Ready to Install” screen, select “Next”
  8. When complete, select “Finish”

Program the new firmware

  1. Attach your DLA+ 3.0 USB or Wireless Adapter to your computer and to a vehicle to ensure adapter is powered.
  2. Connect to any supported OEM application.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions to allow the firmware to be updated.
