History of Noregon

Founded in 1993, Noregon is recognized in the commercial vehicle industry as the vehicle data experts. More than 25 years of collecting and interpreting vehicle data has driven the creation of industry-leading solutions in diagnosis, repair, and vehicle health. Today’s top fleets, OEMs, dealerships, independent repair facilities, municipalities and the military all rely on Noregon to keep their vehicles rolling.

1993

Noregon was founded in Winston-Salem, NC.

1994

Beginning of OE development with Freightliner.

1995

JPRO technology development begins.

1997

OE development with Allison Transmission begins.

2007

Launch of JPRO Commercial Vehicle Diagnostics.

2009

Noregon begins offering Diagnostic Tool Management services.

2013

Birth of First Step Service Advisor & TMT First Step.

2014

Partnered with Mack and Volvo to develop OE software Truck Diagnostic System.

2014

Developed TripVision remote diagnostic technology.

2016

Comprehensive coverage for all makes, all models with the release of JPRO Professional.

2017

Partnered with Mahle to develop TechPRO^®VDS1000HD powered by JPRO technology.

2019

Launched the Noregon Education Program and scholarships

2019

Signed collaboration agreement to develop and manage Bendix diagnostic software.

2020

Made TripVision Uptime commercially available and released ND2 hardware for Truck connectivity.

2021

Launched Technician as a Service, remote technician support.

2021

Hearst Communications acquires majority stake of Noregon Systems, Inc.

2022

Moved into new warehouse and corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC.
